Position Purpose
Billing Oversight – Key billing invoice expert in the team.  

Responsibilities

Billing oversight:

  • Actively liaise with Lisbon Billing Team to ensure invoices are issued promptly and correctly: close tracking and coordination with Lisbon Business Revenue Teams for both Production (accruals + BAU invoices) and new set-ups (new invoices) on backlog of unbilled clients.
  • Actively track the unpaid invoices and their respective aging: coordinating Clients Development Governance/RMs/CSMs and Finance Control Teams on all provision topics, with active contribution to the Provision Committee deck owned by Finance and reported to Territory COO and CEO at Group level.
  • Participate in onboarding/offboarding of new/terminated clients for billing related queries: ensure that the process is properly followed; advise the involved teams should they need any support/guidance. 
  • Perform monthly review on Account Receivable data file from Lisbon.
  • Complete the annual RCSA (Risk Control Self-Assessment) and the quarterly Global Control Plan for the billing oversight process.

Coordination and projects:

  • Work with RM, CSM, Lisbon Billing, Finance and Operations Teams on any billing related queries/issues: coordinate stakeholders to work on short-term and/or long-term solutions to solve the issues and enhance the billing process’ efficiency. 
  • Manage projects/changes impacting billing: coordinate to define the roles and responsibilities of each party involved in the projects, follow-up of the actions to ensure that projects deadlines are met. 
  • Be the local SPOC on Global/Regional Billing Controls Projects to be deployed at local level.

Other in-scope tasks:

  • Manage SG Billing mailbox.
  • Complete bespoke tasks in the billing production for key client.
  • Upload of invoices for specific local clients.
  • Perform potential ad hoc tasks related to the Clients’ billing, provisions calculation process.
  • Answer internal/external auditors’ requirements on billing related matters at the location level.
  • Get familiar with the internal recharge process.
