What is this position about?

 The Fund Dealing Services team supports the end-to-end trade lifecycle for clients that invest in managed funds (unlisted unit trusts), including account opening, trade management, reconciliations and pricing.

 Primary Role Responsibilities
 * Oversight and accountability for the day-to-day processing of the team, ensuring excellent client service and risk management
 * Compliance with local and global regulations and market standards
 * Ensure adherence to internal risk frameworks, participating in internal/external audits and various internal control testing
 * Developing team members and creating an environment that encourages innovation and supports personal growth for team members 
 * Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally
 * Compilation of monthly statistics to manage the business
 * Support FDS Strategic Operating Model Manager to deliver a significant client onboarding and transition pipeline, including working closely with project teams to develop and implement new operating models where required, ensuring any deviations from our standard operating models are formally agreed internally
 * Support the FDS Strategic Operating Model Manager with creating the longer term strategy for the team, including platform development and process enhancements

 Other contributions
 * Participation in RFPs/RFIs as required

 What is required for you to succeed?
 * 10+ years experience in financial services industry
 * Strong technical knowledge of managed funds (unlisted unit trusts) market both in Australia, New Zealand & internationally
 * Experienced people manager

 Desired knowledge, skill, experience
 * Having a degree qualified in Business, Accounting or related discipline; or relevant work experience in a similar role would be desirable
 * Having market related qualifications such as CPA, CFA qualifications would be desirable
