ITO CTM perform credit control independent from the business lines for the corporates portfolio in line with the global core missions and direction of ITO COO
BAU responsibilities as CTM Team Lead
* Act as the main point of contact for ITO CTM within the Risk Corporate scope
* Ensure timely and accurate update of risk data after credit decisions
* Documentation control to ensure that terms & conditions of Facility Documents conform to credit decision and legal requirement
* Validate fulfilment of conditions precedent, control limit availability in systems (Atlas II and CAT) in conformity to credit decisions and documentations, follow up on condition subsequent, documents/temporary waiver
* Validate the framework of required covenants in the ‘Covenant Manager’ tool, against executed credit agreements
* Certify/validate the risk data integrity in risk systems, Atlas II, CAT, and CRF and provision in MIRO in conformity with credit decision and of risk data related to Guarantors and guarantee records
* Monitoring of genuine excess or exceptions for both financing métiers products and for capital market products for corporates (based on control result of the Risk I2S team)
* Monitoring of genuine excess or exceptions for financing lines to Bank/FI (GTS exposures excluded from this scope)
* Regularly report and monitor any anomalies in legal documentation, collateral shortfall, late annual review overdue or breached covenants, underwriting, put option expiry, watchlist and doubtful assets
* Alert Risk Corporate, Business Head and Management on any indication of drift of risk profile during the control missions
* Contribute to successful delivery of systems and control reports enhancement with adequate UATs
* Contribute to NAC from credit risk control perspective for new products in close liaison with the local and regional management
* Contribute to the reporting of all incidents according to the Incident Management System and direct contribution to BNPP operational permanent control framework
* Promote and contribute to the implementation of a common culture and approach within ITO CTM, and promote individual initiative, autonomy and versatility
* Regular communication with the ITO CTM Hub/ISPL CTM for any credit control issues pertaining to local regulatory perimeters and to ensure delivery of ITO CTM mission in a consistent and effective manner
* Assist the ITO CTM Hub (ISPL) and Regional Manager in managing the necessary alignment of responsibilities within the region to better support the needs of internal clients and optimise the quality of services to ITO CTM clients.
* Ensure harmonization of control & Process within Credit Operations (excl Loan Servicing – BO activities)
* Ensure proper implementation of Data Control Plan locally
* Ensure the implementation of relevant KQI, adequate monitoring of those KQI & ensure prompt remediation in case of data quality issue/breaks.
Apart from the above, CTM Team leader will also be in charge of leading Client referential (REF) and Loan Services Middle Office (LSMO)
Details of the responsibilities is:
* Actively use and guide the team on tools related to CTM/LSMO/REF’s BAU i.e. MyCreditApp, RGM, CAT, SignPlus, ATLAS2
* Contribute actively to the roll-out and adoption of other tool- related initiatives (loan memo automation, TOKOS decommission etc)
* Continue to build the Credit Transaction Management (incorporating Loan Servicing Middle Office) and Referential teams in strong coordination with local and regional management.
* Deploy the TOM ensuring operational continuity & realization of saving plan (if any), ensuring validated value creation for our business & clients i.e. audit confirmation production.
* Supervise and maintain the team good productivity’s rate and speed. This includes but not limited to Referential BAU, Loan Transactions, CTM’s Annual Review and Legal Documentation
* Organize weekly discussion on BAU files and any operations issues with onshore and offshore team to improve the quality of works consistently.
* Bring direct contribution to BNPP operational permanent control framework
* Monitor and ensure that all the controls and processes of CTM/LSMO/REF are complied with regulations and the bank’s expectation. This includes but not limited to the quality of services provided to us by ISPL team.
* Ensure harmonization of controls definition & contents vs GCP
* Ensure harmonization of relevant support documents supporting the performance of control
* Ensure appropriate resolution or escalation to management and/or permanent control (for compliance as appropriate) as soon as an issue is identified.
* Ensure adequate follow-up and timely closure of audit recommendations/Risk ORC action points/ incident action points.
Regulatory Projects
– Lead & Coordinate within local CEP & CO team to ensure timely report submission, proper deployment of regulatory evolution & requirements that related to Credit Operation, Referential and Loan Services.
– Supervise the Regulatory Data Transformation Project (RDT) which related to CEP & Credit Ops area. This includes but not limited to coordinate with BOT, FRESH HK, other internal stakeholders in order to ensure that BNPP TH is able to achieve BOT’s requirements professionally and on timely manner
– Deploy new application for local regulatory reports of CEP-Credit Ops. This includes but not limited to the Decommission PowerBuilder, SLL and the launch of Flexel/GUI.
– Coordinate with Regional and lead CTM/LSMO team to achieve the implementation of IBOR and K+OMR locally.
TEAM LEAD / SEA & APAC Community
* Regularly connect with Coverages and Products to support their needs/requirements
* Active participation and support to overall CEP & CO organization on regional and/or global items/projects
* Ensure effective communication upstream and downstream
* Support Hub/Regional Heads of Credit Ops / LSMO/ REF APAC for the necessary alignment of responsibilities and governance within
Qualifications
* More than 10 years banking experiences
* Experience in the banking/finance sector necessary
* Good understanding of Financial/Banking products
* Good understanding of risk concepts and methodologies
* Knowledge of legal documents and credit processes e.g. credit documentation and collateral handling etc
* Good understanding of transaction workflows, booking concept and booking system
* Being familiar with local regulations
* Excellent project management skills
* Commitment to the role and capacity to meticulously implement the ITO CEP & CO Mission Statement
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
