What is this position about?
The AVP, SEA COO Office – Transversal Project Management & Executive Support plays a key role in driving cross-functional (transversal) projects that impact multiple business units within Singapore and SEA. These projects include regulation/ law implementation, finance reporting, non-finance process and control improvement and change initiatives for Singapore and/ or SEA territories.
This position independently manages project planning, execution and delivery to ensure strategic objectives are met efficiently within timelines and budget. In addition, the AVP provides high-level management support to the COO, facilitating governance and effective decision making.
What would be your typical day at BNPP Paribas look like?
A typical day as a Transversal Projects & Management Support staff in SEA COO Office consist of both project management and executive support/ BAU elements:
• Project management: Plan project lifecycle and work on project documentation. Plan, lead meetings and engage stakeholders, write minutes and follow up on action plans. Provide project updates to manager and COO.
• Executive support/ BAU tasks: Request for contributions for reporting/ presentation decks, organize governance meetings, write minutes and follow up on action plans. Prepare updates and management dashboard and organization charts.
Primary Role Responsibilities

• Assume full project life cycle ownership successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously.
• Able to work independently on topics related to assigned projects for relevant tasks, procedures, regulatory survey/submissions/certification or queries.
• Lead and manage a portfolio of complex initiatives end-to-end, coordinating with multiple stakeholders across business lines and/pr external vendors to ensure alignment and timely delivery within budget.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans and milestones to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives.
• Provide leadership and clarity to project team and motivating contributors to meet project milestones.

What is this position about?
Account Management team plays a critically important role in partnering and supporting Front-Office to onboard clients, open new accounts (which is a business strategic priority) and to manage the client account lifecycle process (account opening, review/ recertification and closure).
Account Specialists will work closely with Front Office (i.e., Relationship Managers, Marketing Assistants) and with other stakeholders such as Client Management and Compliance to ensure that the process of Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) is performed consistently, in compliance with regulatory and internal policies, and at the same time in an efficient manner, notably with a high level of quality and a quick turn-around time.
In terms of process, Account Specialists performs the role of a “Maker-Checker” throughout the end-to-end process.
The Account Management team is under the COO domain and has a strong link with Clusters / Markets.
Account Opening / Account Review
• Ensure that the onboarding and review requirements are in accordance with Bank’s AML/KYC standards and regulatory requirements
• Ensure the relevance and completeness of KYC information (in partnership with the RM) and performs appropriate due diligence checks and information searches
• Review and corroborate KYC information submitted by RM
• Assist RM in completing the Client Acceptance Form, Client profiling in ICE or any relevant inquiries/ tasks as well as related checklists, forms and reports related to the account to allow approval of the account
• Oversight the end-to end account opening/ review process of the account. Engage appropriately and efficiently with other relevant stakeholders such as Compliance and Client Management if necessary to enable account opening/ review are completed in an efficient and timely manner
• Escalate any red flag/ alerts timely if appropriate and follow up with the RM on client onboarding/client review related matters and for escalated/prioritized cases
• Prepare the required KYC screening list on new/existing clients by documenting and corroborating the information obtained from RM on the client.
• Respond to stakeholders’ enquiries in a professional and prompt manner; ensure proper follow-up until the enquiries are addressed.
Change Management Support
• Prepare reports for management reporting to facilitate relevant reviews and strengthen the control procedures and process
• Provide feedback and suggestions to relevant parties to improve the processes. Strive for continuous improvement to enhance the efficiencies of the processes in order to meet the KPI collectively with different stakeholders.
• Communicate to RMs on a need-to-know basis of any changes impacting the Account Management work processes
Control Aspects
• Responsible for the implementation of operational permanent control policies and procedures in day-to-day business activities.
• Comply with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines.
• Responsible for reporting all incidents in relation to Account Management matters according to the internal policy

Direct Responsibilities:
1.Participate in the audit team assignments and special reviews (when required by regulators, business lines, or senior management)
-Contribute to the planning and preparation of the assignment e.g. understanding the methodology to be applied, acquiring a deep knowledge of the activities to be covered, understanding the detailed technologies, gathering relevant key figures, etc.
-Develop a thorough understanding of the activities within the scope of the assignment, its strategy and governance, and the related risks.
-Evaluate the overall setup and identify the main areas of risk (including a comprehensive assessment of the management actions).
-Execute detailed investigations leveraging on a strong technical knowledge in various IT systems (Databases, Operating systems Linux/Windows, Cybersecurity/Network security, Virtualization, containerization, Cloud Computing and related risks)
-Leverage on adequate programming languages and scripting to perform efficient investigations by automating analysis.
-Ensure the adequate learning and understanding of the standard IT solutions used in the IT infrastructure and production, Cybersecurity management in order to analyze adequately their configuration and be able to identify and raise potential risks.
-Recommend appropriate actions to the management in order to remediate the identified weaknesses.
-Formalize the results of the assignment investigations and contribute to the production of the assignment deliverables.

-Perform relevant control testing to ensure the proper implementation of the actions.
3.Contribute to the periodic risk assessment of IT activities and planning
-Perform a periodic and comprehensive risk assessment of the IT activities as per the Group guidelines.
-Keep abreast of change/new development of regulatory requirements that are relevant to IT activities and related functions.
-Assist in the elaboration of the IT audit planning following a risk-based approach.
