We have been made aware of recent fraudulent activities by unauthorized third parties attempting to impersonate BNP Paribas and/or BNP Paribas Securities (Thailand) Ltd. for fraudulent purposes, such as requesting a bank transfer, or purporting to conduct equity trades. The victim was reportedly invited to join an unauthorized LINE group and deceived into making investment through the fake mobile application downloaded through Google Play and Apple App Store using ‘BNP Paribas’ name and logo.
