Organization & Method
Position Purpose
* Assist COO and CEO in areas relating to regulatory coordination, organization & Method and transversal monitoring.
* Coordinate and Support projects implementation in accordance with the Group strategies and regulatory framework.
* Contribute as the support and backup to Conduct and Controls scope and activities.
Key Responsibilities
TECHNICAL CORRESPONDENT AND COORDINATORS TO REGULATORS (BoT AMLO DPA RD THAISEC)
* Ensure smooth coordination with Regulator on projects and enhancements.
* Technical representative to the regulator
* Assist and coordinates with stakeholders to solve issue and ensure smoothness.
LOCAL REGULATORY REPORT AND PROCEDURE
* Act as LRR SPOC and drive TH Regulatory Reporting SteerCo on Quarterly basis
* Administrator for LRR inventory and update/ recertification
* Ensure the implementation on new regulation / change through Reg IT.
* Act as Procedure Correspondent ensuring the update and upgrade local procedures and documentation.
* Coordinate with Procedure SPOC to remediate any issue highlighted by Central/ Regional Team.
* To support “Procedure” owners to upload documentation in My Procedure platform when needed.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
* Act as key coordinator in maintain and monitor BNPPTH transformation Project portfolio, covering Business, IT and Operations, Finance and any transversal or Regulatory initiative:
* Monitor progress to ensure timely deliver and raise alerts when necessary.
* To drive the change by putting quality processes and programs in place.
SUPPORT AND BACKUP CONDUCT AND CONTROL KEY TASKS
* Support Head of Conduct and controls on requested ORM aspects and tools in related to controls checking, History Incident input and follow up on the implementation of remediation actions.
* Monitor and contribute to ensuring ORM database accuracy, completeness and robustness.
* Alert and escalate to Head of Conduct and Control on any operational risk incident and/or any recurring weakness.
SUPPORT TO CEO AND COO ON TRANSVERSAL INITIATIVES
* Prepare ad hoc analyses and presentations on strategic topics for the CEO and COO
* For each of the Thailand Entities, Help ensuring consistency and alignment between strategy, project portfolio, dashboards and monitoring, communication.
* Support the change to “New Ways” of working among the teams
Competencies (Technical / Behavioral)
MAIN KNOWLEDGE NEEDED
* Good understanding of the BNP’s activities, products, processes, and systems – and more specifically on Trade and Cash Management activities
* Knowledge of regulatory environment in the financial service sector – and more specifically on Cash Products and activities
* Understanding and broad experience of a wide range of banking functions at an operational level.
* General understanding of the Group control framework.
